French and Spanish
campers headed to Mentor Headlands Beach today, but unfortunately, Mother
Nature was not the most cooperative. Campers were only on the beach for a short
while before we heard the roll of Thunder and our lifeguard Miss Jessie
directed us all to head for the shelter. We ate a picnic lunch under the
shelter, but the rain did not let up, so we returned to Lyman Circle. Campers
watched a short feature of "Wallace & Gromit." In the afternoon,
the French campers made bowls inspired by the pottery of Vietnam, while Spanish
campers engaged in a Spanish version of Guess Who.
