Brrr...Antarctica Day 1

All aboard! Today the campers boarded Gator Train for another week of fun! This week, our travels take us to Antarctica. We began our day by greeting old and new friends, as well as the staff for the week. Our tour guides for this week’s adventure in Antarctica are Ms. McCool, Ms. L (Leibert), Claire, Hannah, Taylor, and Annella. Some of the highlights of today included playing parachute games with Ms. L in the cool air of the Multi-purpose room, listening to Ms. McCool read “The Little Glass Flipper” by Janet Perlman in the Library, and making penguins with our foot prints! The thermometer may have read 85 degrees today, but the campers and staff were in an “Antarctica state of mind.”
