Magic Tree House - Afternoon on the Amazon

Magic Tree House campers are reading Afternoon on the Amazon by Mary Pope Osborne and doing many crafts and activities based on the rainforest. This week, there are 2 groups of Magic Tree House campers: The Snakes, led by Mrs. Forquer, and The Animals, led by Miss Davis. Each group had a fun-filled day and did their best to stay cool! The campers made hanging snakes, using bubble wrap to paint realistic scales, visited the Magic Tree House, and went on a hike to the creek. Campers finished their day by combining with Daring Camp and participating in 3 activities: an Alphabet Scavenger Hunt, Sculpture Building with packing peanuts, and a game of Charades. Tomorrow, we swim in the morning; don't forget your bathing suit, a towel, and a change of clothes!
