Snakes, Animals, and Artists. Oh my!

It was a "scorcher" out at the Butler Campus, but Magic Tree House campers and Daring campers spent the day doing activities that let them stay cool and still have fun! They started the day by swimming in the pool at Ursuline College.

Campers then returned to camp for lunch. Afterwards, they hiked to the softball fields to play a few water games. First, they played "Water Balloon Kickball", where the campers had to run the bases on the softball field while other campers, in the outfield, threw water balloons at them. Then, they played a few rounds of "Drip Drip Splash", a water version of "Duck Duck Goose".

After water games, Magic Tree House and Daring Camp split into their individual camps to do some fun activities. Magic Tree House Camp made Monkey Puppets and Jungle Binoculars. They also played a game of Swat Tag and continued reading Afternoon on the Amazon. Daring Camp travelled to the Magic Tree House, where they made art by throwing water balloons filled with paint at paper on the ground. They also began to gather materials to make Nature Sculptures. They plan to finish their artwork on Thursday.

Tomorrow is Field Trip Day for both camps! Magic Tree House will go to the zoo and Daring Camp will go to the art museum.
