Thursday is Field Trip Day on The Gator Train...and the
campers made their way to Thornton Park for adventure on the ice! They came
prepared with helmets and gloves and a whole bunch of enthusiasm. Most of the
Gator Trainers had never even been ice skating before so needless to say they
were excited. The Seals and Penguins started off the morning playing in
the classrooms and working together. We had an early snack and got right to the
project of the day... Winter Wonderland Collages. With the help from the
counselors the campers used cotton balls, colored papers, tin foil, and glue to
decorate a tree in a winter scene. Before we knew it was time to head to The
Multi Purpose Room to play games and build up a big appetite for lunch!
