It was so hot today that the Magic Tree House Campers thought they were in Hawaii, just like Jack and Annie in High Tide in Hawaii! Campers started their day with a dip in Ursuline College's indoor swimming pool. Campers had fun splashing around in the soothing pool waters. After lunch and some time on the playground, campers stopped by the sprinklers to cool themselves. Even the counselors decided to take some relief in the chilly water! Afterwards, campers hiked to the Magic Tree House to read more about Jack and Annie's adventures and they made Salt Dough beach scenes! Mrs. Dachtler even brought in some surfer music (The Beach Boys and Dick Dale) and showed some videos of surfers in action!
Tomorrow is FREAKY FRIDAY: PAJAMA DAY!
