Gator Train arrived enthusiastically Monday morning! We watched a video
about Playground safety and reviewed some very important rules for playing
together at camp. This week campers are in one of two groups: The Stars or
The Stripes. Ms. Ellis played parachute games in the Multipurpose Room
with one group while Miss L read "Home Is Where You Build Your Nest"
by Joan B. Smith. The story is set in Cleveland and is about all the great
places in the city to be with your family. Campers took turns decorating craft
bags and having their hands traced by counselors for the afternoon craft! After
lunch we made a very patriotic Eagle craft with colored foam, glue, and hand
print cutouts.
