Dare to be a Zoologist/Stage Fright on a Summer Night

Today we welcomed back our Magic Tree House and Daring Camp campers! Magic Tree House's theme for the week is Stage Fright on a Summer Night, a story about William Shakespeare. Daring Camp's theme for the week is "Dare to be a Zoologist". Both camps participated in fun activities to help them become immersed in their theme.

Magic Tree House started the day making masks (possibly for a play they make make later in the week!). They followed mask making with a game of charades. Daring Camp spent the morning doing Project Adventure activities, practicing their listening and teamwork skills.

After lunch, both camps spent time on the playground. Campers played on the monkey bars, the swings, and built homes for the miniature frogs that live around the playground.

In the afternoon, Magic Tree House campers ventured to the creek and read at the Magic Tree House. Daring Campers created their own camouflaged animals and also hiked to the creek. To end the day, both camps combined for a scavenger hunt and games with the parachute.
